In his 20 year practice in insurance, Chris has acted both for the insurance industry and against it.

Chris has acted on the one hand for Lloyd’s syndicates, composites, brokers and life offices, and on the other, for insureds, corporates and claimant consumers. This is unusual as most practitioners in this area are 'either poacher or gamekeeper'. It gives Chris a balance and evenhandedness which he applies when being the mediator of insurance-related disputes.

Use these links to see examples of insurance disputes Chris has mediated:

Insurance & reinsurance: worked closely with Lloyd’s and the London Market.

Subrogated recovery claims: has mediated many fire and water damage claims, often with BI.

Coverage disputes: Chris sees no contradiction mediating ‘all or nothing’ coverage cases.
